Every calculation on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The loan amounts, interest rates and terms you enter are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and never shared with anyone. We could not look up your figures even if we wanted to.
Nothing that identifies you. We do not require an account, an email address, or any personal details to use the calculators. There is no sign-up form and no newsletter.
The one thing stored on your device is a theme preference, saved in your browser's localStorage so the site opens in the light or dark appearance you last chose. That value never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics in future, this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the analytics will not have access to any figure you type into a calculator.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. That request necessarily includes your IP address, as any web request does. It does not include anything you typed into the calculator. No other third-party scripts are loaded.
Where we link to lenders, government resources or other sites, those sites have their own privacy practices. This policy covers only emicalculatorus.com.
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because no personal information is collected from any visitor, no special provisions are required.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top.
